This is a core technology that processes highly detailed 3D assets to efficiently display them on any device, enhancing collaboration particularly for industries that require detailed object representation.
It allows the same asset to be streamed to multiple devices including smartphones, tablets, web browsers and XR headsets, in the same high quality regardless of device. Other forms of loading 3D models for visualisation would typically require a powerful graphics card to achieve, but Polygon Streaming does all the heavy lifting in the cloud, making it possible to use everyday devices, opening up more flexibility and use cases for users and enterprises. Polygon Streaming isn’t limited to just single assets, whole environments with tens of millions of polygons can be streamed in real-time.
