Making friends and having new experiences are the keys to successful parties, and a virtual reality party offers both without real-world limitations.
In this second part of our VR party game recommendations, we’ll show you two more titles that offer hilariously fun minigames you can hop in and out of. Best of all, they are free to play!
Get ready for incredibly immersive experiences that will bring everyone together like never before. Ready your PC VR headsets (or your VIVE XR Elite with VIVE Streaming), because you won’t want to miss these bangers.
Make new friends and hobbies in the wonderful world of Rec Room!
Rec Room, available on SteamVR, is based off of neighborhood recreational centers where people hang out, play games, join clubs, and explore new interests. And it offers just that, allowing you to hop into virtual rooms with activities, quests, and games.
Simply gather a group of friends (or go in solo and make new friends) and start off with the #RecRoomOriginal games, which are the built-in experiences officially developed by Rec Room.
Enjoy classic games like dodgeball, laser tag, and bowling, or dive into raid-style quests in worlds such as Isle of Lost Skulls.
When you are done exploring those, the adventure has only just begun. Dive into thousands of user-created rooms with custom themes and rules.
You can keep the party going with a fan-made version of Among Us, join the military for an introductory bootcamp, or fly around doing parkour. You and your friends can also create new rooms for games and quests of your own!
Jump into an intense game of multiplayer VR dodgeball in Roblox VR.
Roblox VR is another game that is comprised of user-developed worlds. Take your VR party into those worlds (or experiences, as Roblox calls them) with immersive simulators, thematic adventures, and battles.
Want to be the best cook? How about the worst customer? Do both and swap roles with your friends as you simulate working and eating at a chaotic restaurant. Or, if you want something more intense, you can also transform your VR party into a zombie apocalypse roleplaying experience, traveling in a team to gather supplies, explore new areas, and survive.
Engaging with non-VR users is an exciting element of Roblox VR. With some experiences that blend VR and non-VR gameplay together, VR users can either help or hinder the non-VR players’ mission to traverse the obstacle courses and mazes.
Enjoy the fun atmosphere and comradery that virtual reality offers and bring your friends closer together through immersive adventures.
We hope you enjoyed these VR party game suggestions. Don’t forget to check out part one here and stay tuned for part three.
