You wake up in a galactic desert environment of flying jellyfish, floating rocks, and magical puzzles — what do you do in this new world? Star Realm is an immersive 3D experience that transports you to a virtual world that feels like it was plucked from a sci-fi universe.
This dream-like World shows off the intuitive no-code tools provided by VIVERSE Create, the 3D world and avatar builder that lets you craft unforgettable immersive experiences to share with the VIVERSE community.
Here is a breakdown of every interactive element in Star Realm for you to explore.
Blocks and rocks, not birds.
The first things you see when entering Star Realm are objects outlined in orange that are pushed forward by your Avatar. Running into these objects at full force launches them forward at low gravity. Don’t forget, you’re in another realm. In the distance you will see the first interactive element.
Not too far away, you will see towers of boxes set up for your dismantling. All you have to do is launch those orange objects towards those towers for an epic Angry Birds-style demolition spree. Hint: Hit the red-outlined boxes for an explosive surprise!
Fly into the night.
Leave your hang gliders on Earth? That’s okay, because in Star Realm, you can fly! Venture onwards and upwards by pressing down the spacebar or the fly button — depending on what device you are using — to fly towards the next interactive element, the acceleration gates.
Flying through these ocarina-esque gates will provide your Avatar with a satisfying speed boost and an even more satisfying sound. Zip through those gates and maintain control as you pick up speed and get to the final large gate for a mind-bending finale!
Save the jellyfish!
As you soar through Star Realm, you will encounter some mesmerizing creatures floating across the air. These jellyfish are completely harmless and maybe even friendly. However, throughout your flight, you will see some of these amazing creatures locked in a cage. It doesn’t matter who locked them up — first set them free.
Click or tap on the locks of the cruel cages to save them from imprisonment and watch them fly off into the sky to join their jolly jellyfish friends!
Explore on your terms.
Now that all those interactive elements are explored, it’s time to venture off by yourself. Star Realm has a mysterious, yet calming vibe, and almost feels like traversing the desert world of your favorite science fiction novel.
Enjoy the homey atmosphere of the cozy-looking tents. The mystical feel of the structure up on the rocks, and the mystical floating boulders and their unique flora. With VIVERSE’s stunning graphics and seamless performance, you won’t be able to stop exploring with your friends.
