In the first of our latest series of Viveport Developer Stories, we took a trip over to Paris, France to visit with the team at Lucid Realities Studio. Winner of the third annual VDA award in the Arts & Culture category with the experience Claude Monet – The Water Lily obsession, they talked to us about what went into crafting this beautiful and immersive Viveport title that brought the works of the famous painter to life in stirring new ways.
Lucid Realities is an innovator in bringing breathtaking works to VR with 360 video and interactivity based on influential artists such as Pieter Bruegel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
With Claude Monet – The Water Lily obsession, viewers are swept away to a jaw dropping stylistic recreation of the artists French home, where he created more than 250 scenes devoted to the Japanese-style water lily garden he’d constructed around a nearby pond.
