HTC G REIGNS, Capgemini, and Intel to Demo Industrial Connectivity Solution at MWC 2024

VIVE Team • Feb. 29, 2024

5 minutes read

At this year’s MWC conference in Barcelona, HTC’s G REIGNS, Capgemini, and Intel are showcasing a new industrial connectivity solution which demonstrates the power of portable private 5G networks.

With expertise from each company, this Industrial Metaverse solution is powerful and flexible. The demo merges AI, native Edge software, and Industrial Private 5G to bring greater efficiency and real-time insights which can be used in multitude of situations including manufacturing, retail, defence, hospitality, telcos, logistics, and warehouses.

On Capgemini’s stand, the demo will showcase an automation solution for warehouses, leveraging a 5G-based CBRS network and Edge compute to guide industrial vehicles. The REIGN CORE Private 5G box is verified for Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) and 5G-enabled camera use cases, both of which can greatly help with industrial efficiency and safety.

HTC G REIGNS, Capgemini, and Intel all bring their unique expertise to the project. G REIGNS’ commercial vRAN; Capgemini includes system integration capabilities and software frameworks that power the REIGN CORE vRAN and core. The entire system is Intel-based, and uses Intel-Flex RAN as the software layer for the RAN.

We are excited to show the world this next-gen solution for manufacturing and industrial use cases. Powered by HTC’s G REIGNS - vRAN, companies across a range of verticals can now use AI and Edge native software to gain real-time insights and streamline their operations.
