In 2024, the Japanese VTuber industry once again showcased its cultural influence, securing a spot on Japan's YouTube annual rankings. Suisei Hoshimachi from hololive made waves with her original song "BIBBIDIBA," which entered YouTube's trending music chart. The music video, blending reality with animation, broke through barriers and achieved over a billion views. Meanwhile, independent VTuber Yuki Sakuna, who debuted in October, became one of the fastest-growing VTubers in terms of YouTube subscribers this year, further highlighting the influence of Japanese VTubers.

Following her success last year, the highly popular Suisei Hoshimachi was invited again to YouTube Fanfest Japan, where she delivered a stunning live performance of "BIBBIDIBA" on December 11 at Makuhari Messe. The event also featured fan dance videos, encouraging the audience to dance along to the enchanting spell, showcasing the deep connection between the work and its fans.

Beyond the success of "BIBBIDIBA," Suisei Hoshimachi continues to surprise her fans. Recently, her collaboration with virtual singer Kaf sparked lively discussions, and next year, she will become the first hololive performer to take the stage at Budokan.

Suisei Hoshimachi's cross-industry collaborations have also garnered attention. She recently teamed up with Google to release a special version of her popular song "Stellar Stellar," introducing viewers to the new "Circle Search" AI feature, showcasing her potential in commercial partnerships.
