VRChat Now Available for VIVE XR Elite: Enjoy Standalone Full Body Tracking

Good news, good news! VIVE XR Elite owners can now break free from the constraints of a PC and directly download the VRChat standalone version app from the VIVEPORT store for free! The XR Elite standalone version not only allows for more freedom in your gameplay, but also supports the latest VIVE Ultimate Trackers for full body tracking. By wearing these lightweight and precise amazing full-body motion trackers, your Avatar will come to life even more!

Of course, I also had the opportunity to test it out in advance, and the entire setup process for full body motion tracking was smooth, fast, and simple! In less than ten minutes, I was happily dancing in VRChat's "Just Dance World."
How to set up VIVE Ultimate Trackers for VRChat
1. First, install the standalone version of VRChat on VIVE XR Elite and enter the setup process for VIVE Ultimate Trackers.
2. Attach the straps to the areas where you want to secure the trackers for full body motion tracking. Pay attention to the strap placement and make sure your clothing doesn't draope over and obstruct the VIVE Ultimate Trackers sensors! (I attached them to my waist and ankles.)
3. Plug the Wireless Dongle of the VIVE Ultimate Trackers into the Type-C port on your VIVE XR Elite headset.

4. Follow the instructions shown in VR on the headset to complete the remaining setup process for the VIVE Ultimate Trackers.
Confirm that the tracking is working correctly.
5. After completing the tracker setup for full body motion tracking, launch and enter the VRChat app and stand in front of a full-body mirror in the starting world.
6. Press the "Y" button on the controller to open the quick menu.
7. On the "Launchpad" tab, select "Calibrate FBT" (calibrate full-body tracking). You will see your Avatar in a T-pose with white tracking points on your avatar's body. The white tracking points represent the trackers worn on your body.
8. Adjust and align the position of the VIVE Ultimate Trackers on your body to match with the corresponding position of the tracking points shown on your Avatar. Press the trigger button on the hand controllers to complete the setup!
9. Now try move your hands and feet and look at yourself in the mirror. Make sure your Avatar's movements perfectly match yours with the full body tracking.
