Virtual Reality (VR) social platform VRChat released Build 1456 on May 22, 2024, which includes updates to support French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Toki Pona, Russian, and Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), with more languages to come in the future!
Language localization is finally out in the official release! (Source: X)
After updating VRChat to the latest version, users can switch languages directly in the settings without first having to use a beta version. Most of the translations are complete, including the user interface (UI), quick menu, and main menu.
Since last year, VRChat has initiated a localization translation project, allowing users from various regions to participate voluntarily. The localization language support entered Open Beta earlier this year and is now officially launched. The translation team is driven by the enthusiasm and contributions of the users.
If VRChat players have suggestions for the localization or wish to help improve the quality of the translation, they can join the 'VRChat Localization' Discord and contribute as volunteer translators.
